Kipling celebrate 25th anniversary in style at The Hospital Club
The Hospital Club’s doors swung open at 6.30 on Thursday evening, beckoning in exclusive guests to celebrate 25 happy and successful years of accessories brand Kipling, as well as launch their global artist project “Play with Bags”.
Guests were treated to champagne and cocktails on arrival, and the Belgian-theme (to remind guests of the brand’s roots in Antwerp) proved a massive hit with everyone who attended.
Amber Atherton from TV’s Made in Chelsea was the first to arrive and showed great admiration for the Kipling Classics, which were commissioned from eight global creatives, including Rankin and Javier Mariscal, who has recently been nominated for an Oscar due to his latest cinematography work.
To get everybody into the celebratory mood, T4’s Georgie Okell shook the room with an eclectic music mix, followed closely by 90s girly favourites by Jade Williams and Sunday Girl. Everybody was soon up dancing, drinks in hand, and enjoying the Belgian frites that surrounded them.
Also helping the guests to dance the night away was Margot Bowman, who played the final DJ set as people were merry from champagne cocktails and Aperol spritzers. This event was definitely one that won’t be forgotten in a hurry.
