Vintage on a shoestring: Zara Taylor Jewellery

Vintage on a shoestring: Zara Taylor Jewellery

There’s not much I’m grateful to my shameful addiction to reality TV for, except that is, the discovery of Zara Taylor’s beautiful jewellery creations. First spied in an episode of Made in Chelsea worn by cast member Millie Mackintosh, who seems to be one of the biggest fans of Zara’s work. The celebrity fan base definitely doesn’t stop there, Fearne Cotton, Jesse J, Taylor Swift and Kelly Rowland – most recently in her new video for Keep It Between Us – have all be seen repeatedly donning gorgeous designs from Taylor, not to mention half the cast of The Only Way Is Essex.

Half Irish and half Thai, Zara was born and bred in South London. She is the mother of two young childen and spends her time making stunningly unique vintage inspired jewellery.

Her cute and quirky designs have been featured in many publications and rightly so. You can clearly see the love and attention to detail that has gone into making each piece of jewellery. Zara says searching for the unusual pendants used for her jewellery is her favourite part of the creation process. The simplicity of her designs, combined with the uniqueness of the pendants and stones used, is undoubtedly what makes her jewellery so popular. Zara sells lots of limited edition pieces so, more often than not, you’ll be able to guarantee you won’t see anyone else sporting your latest purchase.

This is now ‘my go to’ site when I want to treat myself to some new jewellery or find the perfect present for a friend. One of the most astonishing things about Zara’s jewellery is how reasonably priced it is. So now you’ve got no excuse not to indulge!
