Getting personal with Topshop

Last week Topshop created a stir with their highly anticipated Personal Shopper event. In short this was a chance for the personal shoppers from all the different branches; Oxford Street, Knightsbridge and Westfield to name a few, to invite their clients over to the Oxford Circus store to preview the new Edited collection and enjoy some highly sought after-hours shopping. The Edited collection is described as ‘a hand-selected pick of all our pieces, curated just for you’ hand-picked by Head of Design, Jacqui Markham. 

The personal shopping service Topshop offer is massively under appreciated and un-recognised by the mainstream fashion followers. The service is completely free and there is no minimum spend, unlike some higher-end services. The personal shoppers all have their own individual and quirky style but would never dictate their clients what to wear; the choice is yours, they are simple there to help you, grab the clothes you need and give great advice on how to style outfits, in ways you might not normally think of. With spacious, well-lit dressing rooms, you could easily flitter the day away in the shop, even better when there are free cupcakes.

The event was packed with fashions most famous, from bloggers to stylists, with all the Topshop personal shoppers on hand to give you helpful tips on how to dress for the upcoming season, for example, how do I wear on-trend orange with this skin tone? The evening was fun-packed, there was plenty of champagne flowing and a lot of money spent by everyone, but there was a free gift with every purchase.
