LFW – Tatty Devine AW 2012 collection
Tatty Devine show-pieced their Autumn/Winter 2012 collection in a quaint corner of the Terrace at Somerset House. Initially, you were warmed with the traditional and bold Tatty Devine signature. A lobster, a moustache and a seahorse, all on individual necklace pieces and all very Tatty-esque, which of course, is the nature of the label we already know and love. However, when you learn what the collection is about, it becomes so much more.
Using digital prints as their statement in this season’s collection, Tatty Devine have moved on to using wood as well as their conventional use of Perspex for their ideas. There is a large focus upon animal design versus an art deco approach to some of their most striking pieces featuring leopards, hawk moths and mice. There is a significant use of floral design with additional semi-precious stones which are making their debut for the Tatty Devine Autumn/Winter 2012 collection. Special picks include the Willow Pattern Plate set necklace and the simple, adorable Wooden Gingerbread heart necklace – perfect to wear to your favourite Christmas market this year.
The collection is completed with bold and bountiful headpieces, perfect to complete any outfit in a totally stylish way. All we have to say is good for Tatty Devine and we can’t wait to get our hands on next season’s delights.
