LFW – Mattijs AW 2012 collection

At this catwalk show if you so much as blinked you risked opening your eyes to believing you were at a sci fi film premiere. Mattijs  had achieved their goal- as inspiration was taken from Princess Leia in Star Wars and the character Atreyu from the wonderful film, Never Ending Story. Colours dominating the show were blacks, gold, burnt oranges and dark greens. MattijsVan Bergen’s collection was graceful and sophisticated, combining sci-fi inspiration with chic city girl style, a daring direction to take but one that did indeed work very well.
