Clothes made for a Darling

Clothes made for a Darling

Darling Clothes is exactly what you would expect it to be, just darling: charming, cute and simply loveable. A beautiful vision created by London based designer Nadia Moraes, the collections are ultra feminine, vintage inspired and quintessentially English.

Design details such as soft applique trims, feminine pleats and ruffles all set to put you at the forefront of SS 2012’s biggest trend. The independent label oozes a luxurious edginess with an emphasis on quality and attention to detail.

For the Spring/Summer 2012 collection, Darling Clothes explores the traditional English country house; think Pride and Prejudice meets a modern day fairytale; full of lace, florals and dainty lightweight knits set within a colour palette of dusky hues and candy cotton dreams. Perfect for a summer afternoon stroll or vintage tea party, the collection will leave you feeling beautiful and stylish in clothes that retail at affordable prices.

Celebrity Darlings include Fearne Cotton, Holly Willoughby, Peaches Geldof and Anna Friel. Having previously graced the pages of Elle, Marie Claire and Grazia magazine. The brand is going from strength to strength and even won Womenswear Brand of the Year at the Drapers 2011 Fashion Awards.

So if you’re channelling the season’s ultra ladylike movement this is definitely the collection for you. I can’t decide between the candy pink kimono, the oversized purple knit jumper or the pretty in pink tulle detail dress so I might as well get them all. Well the collection is just so Darling after all! Which pieces do you love?
