It’s definitely cool to be an Outsider

Outsider believes that ethical fashion should look just like regular fashion, and that you shouldn’t be forced to sacrifice style for sustainability. Inspired by modern catwalk trends, Outsider strives to deliver its range in a manner that is timeless and versatile, rather than transient and throwaway.

Without preaching to their customers, Outsider creates a solution for fashionable shoppers, enabling people to follow trends without compromising on ethical issues or moral stance. Outsider was formed after several years working in the conventional fashion industry, and believes that brands should be able to function as companies and still have a heart – instead of prioritising profit over all else, brands should remain ethical.

Just because Outsider hold high esteem in sustainability doesn’t mean their collection sacrifices its style. Here are a few of the highlights from their spring/summer collection.

This season’s definite favourite, the omnipresent pastel shades, make an appearance. This lovely Grecian style midi dress, with its high waist and scooped skirt, would be flattering to all body shapes.

A new and fresh approach to the classic shirt dress, this crisp white dress with its asymmetric dipped hem is a perfect way of glamming up tired, frumpy office wear.

This buttoned shirt dress with contrasting peter pan collar and ribbon belt is gorgeous, the type of thing you can wear while out for a drink with friends, or to a family meal; it will fit any occasion.

This oversized dusky blue blazer has to be my favourite by far. Although it’s worn quite formally in the look book I think dressed down with a pair of faded cut off denims, cute ankle socks and stacked wooden wedges it would be perfect.
