The nostalgic world of Pip Jolley
Jewellery designer, Pip Jolley, prides herself on breathing life into old and ornate objects, creating delicate hybrids for an updated and contemporary line of jewellery. “Pushing the boundaries of wearability, from silver hair rollers to time capsule cocktail rings, Pip is able to express her eccentric mix of abilities in jewellery design by taking all kinds of risks.”
After graduating from Central Saint Martins in Jewellery Design, Pip Jolley has been on the rise, working for the Links of London “Charming Project” and trend forecasting Saint Martin’s Autumn/Winter 10/11 catwalk show. Pip Jolley has been mentioned in countless jewellery blogs for her surprisingly innovative line.
Inspired by women of the 1940s, the Joanne Collection is filled with playful updates of objects once used for mundane everyday tasks, such as hair rollers and pin curlers, turning their shapes into eye-catching diamond encrusted rings, and rose gold hoop earrings giving them a vintage/punk feel.
The collection ranges from £95.00 for the Electroplated Silver Roller Necklace, to £745.00 for the Joanne Pave Set Roller Section Ring. All her brooches, rings, necklaces, hair accessories and earrings can be purchased online by clicking here.
