Fazane: basically twisted
Fazane is a new and upcoming boutique label, with a range of eclectic designs oozing with sophisticated cool, modernising classic shapes and cuts with a touch of glamorous rock, which provide staple wardrobe basics for women of all ages with an added fashionable twist.
What makes their newest collection particularly appealing is that the pieces can be easily mixed with your existing clothes to update previous season’s looks, whilst still being strong enough to wear alone, creating real statement looks and giving you that WOW factor. From high-collared blouses to essential LBDs, the range, which was launched in November, has something to suit everyone, no matter what their signature style is.
The colour palette remains neutral: easily worn blacks; whites, greys and creams dominate the range with an added touch of sparkle for some extra fashion edginess. Pops of colour and print are used throughout to give each design a unique and current feel, whilst the foundations of each design remain enduring and effortless.
Fazane Malik, the brains behind this emerging brand, has actually been designing and making clothes since the age of 4. In 1999, she got the opportunity to launch her own label thanks to a business competition by Young Enterprise, where she won “Achiever of the Year”. Since then, with a degree in Fashion and Clothing firmly under her arm and a strong understanding of the design industry, Fazane was given the opportunity to showcase a small collection in Derby. This was extremely well received and led to her launching the Fazane brand in June 2011.
Fazane’s monochromatic A/W range with luxury silk and wool featuring heavily amongst the sleek and elegant designs, creates a super luxe and unique feel. From the oversized silk print tees to the tailored waistcoats and jackets, every piece has a distinctive look. This brand new and upcoming label is one to go to if you want to freshen up your wardrobe basics and add uniqueness to your current look.
When we say they’re unique, we really mean it. This emerging UK-based boutique only makes 50 pieces of each style; signed and numbered by the creative director herself.
