Show your true colours with Ellis Faas

Combining simplicity with beauty, Ellis Faas offers a groundbreaking line of cosmetics that are easy to use, elegant and let you be the artist.

Having worked as a make-up artist for numerous publications such as Vogue, Dazed and Confused, W Magazine and supervised fashion shows for Karl Lagerfeld and Fendi, she created Ellis Lips in 2009, which received a wave of praise from the beauty press. From this success she has continued to take the concept of stylish pen applicators to her latest line, Human Colours.

From the tawny peach of a freckle to the pure vivid red that pulses through the veins, the collection looks to the human palette for inspiration. Flattering for any skin tone, the pigments counteract any imperfection.

Within the collection you have Ellis Eyes which is a long lasting formulation that transforms into a matte powder upon application. Creamy Eyes is created with a brush applicator for shaping, contouring or an all-over colour and Milky Eyes with a sponge for a sheen of colour. The two can be combined for depth and highlighting.

Ellis Lips has 27 colours to choose from which also has the Creamy option for a stained effect and Milky for a more translucent appearance. Glazed Lips was added to give an ultra-wet look with vitamin C and omega 3.

Aside from the luxurious formulations, she has added the Ellis Holder that is unique to the brand, as it offers a compact solution to the problem of storing make-up. Locking together so you can hold multiple pens in one, this is a great tool for any make-up addict or professional alike.

Creamy Eyes and Milky Eyes £23, Creamy Lips, Milky Lips and Glazed Lips £22. Available from Liberty and here
