Chelsea agree fee to sign Victor Moses

Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Victor Moses from Wigan Athletic.

The European Champions have been long term admirers of the former Crystal Palace stalwart, and have had four previous offers rejected.

It is believed that Blues chief executive Ron Gourlay met his Wigan chairman Dave Whelan to discuss the deal during Chelsea’s visit to the DW Stadium on the opening weekend.

The fee is believed to be £7 million pounds, but could rise up to £2 million with add ons. Victor Moses will now travel to London to discuss personal terms and undergoing a medical with Chelsea hoping to seal the deal before the weekend.
