Brighten up your home with Cosas mínimas
Putting up paintings in your home can transform a room instantly. With Cosas mínimas you can bring something quirky yet simple to your living room, bedroom or kitchen.
Cosas mínimas was created by Blanca Gómez. When she was working for another graphic design studio, Blanca drew on Post-its on a regular basis. She would throw these drawings into the bin but her boss suggested she do something with her doodles. Blanca’s boss even went to the lengths of picking a name for her company and purchasing her a website. What started out as a hobby has now become her primary job. Cosas mínimas continues to grow and Blanca divides her time between personal projects, the store and commercial commissions.
Cosas mínimas has produced some stunning work for a number of different clients. From a simple wedding invitation to producing cards for moo.com, an illustration for Uppercase magazine and a logo for a music band, Cosas mínimas has no limits.
When asked what inspires her work, Blanca replied: “To be sincere, I’m not too certain what inspires me. I suppose that everything that surrounds me and everything that I like inspires me inevitably. I’m a huge collector of objects and books. Picasso said something along the lines of it being best for inspiration to find you working; I happen to think that’s good way to put it.”
You can brighten up your home with this fete print for £20, or if you want a nautical-inspired print for your bathroom, you may like this maritime print, also £20.
