Radio 1 DJ and notorious hipster Nick Grimshaw manned the decks at trendy West London gastro-pub Paradise By Way Of Kensal Green last night.

Greeted by the standard mob of photographers, the affectionately-nicknamed Grimmy rocked up with celebrity pals, hanging out in the uber-cool vintage-chic surroundings before taking to the decks around midnight.

The atmosphere in the tiny upstairs bar was already lively as another DJ warmed up the crowd, but the space exploded as Grimmy took over, serving a mix of beats with an old-skool hip-hop flavour from the likes of Roots Manuva and Lil Kim to the Fugees and De La Soul (just to give you a taste) till the small hours.

A popular and intimate venue with an award-winning restaurant, Paradise hosts regular DJ nights and its laid-back vibe and quirky gothic splendour make for a great night out.
