Label crush: To be adored

Label crush: To be adored

Feminine and ethereal To be adored is a women’s fashion label both popular amongst fashion bloggers and celebrities. Having been worn by the likes of Florence Welsh, Alexa Chung and Fearne Cotton, you know immediately that this label is on trend, original and chic.

Having worked for some of the most influential people in the fashion industry, Bin Bin McNiven started up her own fashion label, To be adored, in 2009.

Her spring/summer collection was filled with pretty, light and wearable clothes that have a list of reasons as to why each one is a must-have. Using intricate detailing of frills, collars and cuffs, the collection is a muse of white and cream shades with a dash of khaki, lilac and red.

This Ella dress from the collection is a definite favourite. Made from silk, with a cute collar and sheer sleeves, this is the optimum dress for feeling girly and creative.

Pleats and a triple collar with cuffs, anyone? This Dorothy dress has all of these features and somehow works and looks amazing. Shaded in a light lilac with long sleeves, this dress could be worn with or without tights, all year round.

Bin Bin’s influences of music and interior design are really apparent throughout her garments, as they represent a whole statement piece on their own and give an edgy feel to the inspirations she reflects back on.

The autumn/winter collection consists of cooler colours; gold, peach and black sheer are amongst the reoccurring materials and tones used in these garments. Keeping her signature skater style dress but with a more current and fresh take on the silhouette, her collection stays contemporary. This collection has more of a “romantic tomboy” feel, as quoted on their website.

Warm and stylish, this Petra coat is perfect for the upcoming cooler months. The green shade makes it easy to team with different items in your wardrobe. A great investment to last you until spring.

Similarly, with this sheer black dress you can never have too many suitable clothes for winter, let alone classy ones. This gorgeous number will be fitting for all of the chillier Christmas events and make you look utterly elegant at the same time.

The use of beautiful and interesting fabric, combined with impeccable tailoring and a keen eye for what the future holds is what makes this label so, well, adorable…
