Carin Wester’s Autumn/Winter 2012 collection
Swedish fashion line Carin Wester has been making a name for itself since its launch in 2003. Having been nominated for various awards, including the Elle Newcomer of the Year Award in 2004, her designs are not to be missed.
The Autumn/Winter 2012 collection is of a cooler palette, with colours mainly consisting of grey, black and blue. The garments are effortless and ready to wear, a real mixture of androgynous shapes and elegant silhouettes. The collection also delves into print and ruffles, added features that give the pieces a sprinkle of femininity.
We love how the garments have been pieced together on the Carin Wester website. It shows that the collection pieces complement each other and can be combined to create interesting outfits, solely from the collection itself.
Here are some of our favourites from the collection and where to wear them:
This Rasha shirt is the daring print needed to stand out in the winter this year. Team with dark colours to make the print more apparent and this could be the perfect look for a London city girl.
An elegant, chiffon, Twenties-inspired dream comes in the form of this Roberta dress. The dropped waist and pleating detail make this the perfect evening dress for upcoming events in the coming months.
Looking for something a little different? Then why not try this Rebecka coat. Unique in style and made from a mohair/wool blend, this coat will keep you warm and on trend this winter.
Stocked in different shops and websites worldwide, it is difficult not to stumble across this impeccably tailored brand. Even Urban Outfitters have started to stock up on Carin Wester pieces.
Why not have a browse for yourself and pick up one of these stylish treats here.
