Contemporary Claire

Contemporary Claire

British jewellery designer Claire Paul, of Claire Paul Jewellery, has taken her passion for contemporary design to create a line of simplistic hand-crafted and hand-finished jewellery.  She embraced designing as a career path after completing a silver jewellery-making course in 2012. Each piece is unique and special in its own way. She works from her home workshop, based in Wiltshire.  Drawing on inspiration from the natural to the quirky, she likes the idea of recreating real objects in miniature form. Claire can design a whole bespoke look for you, and is more than happy to get creative with your thoughts and ideas.

In 2010, Claire began to work with silver and realised how much enjoyment and satisfaction was to be gained from designing and hand-making jewellery. Being able to manipulate metal to create something beautiful and elegant became a driving force to launch Claire Paul Jewellery. “Her designs are for people seeking handmade, beautiful pieces that allow them to enjoy original creativity.”

Her pieces are strong, but contain a sense of dainty simplicity. On her website you can find a wide array of bracelets, rings and pendants.  We love the quirky style of Claire Paul’s Silver French Knicker Necklace (£65) and the Surfboard Fin Earrings (£40). Claire is currently working on a brass and silver collection, where she interprets the use of different metal colours and textures together, to create a contrasting effect.  She delivers throughout the UK and internationally.
