Vietto: creativity meets ecological commitment

Vietto is an independent, ecological Finnish label founded in 2007 by Minna Kaartinen. From the outset, the concept behind the brand has been to create innovative fashion for women that would combine design, functionality and environmental commitment.

Love for nature and respect for the environment are fundamental cornerstones of Nordic culture, so much as to become part of tradition.

Vietto has invented a fresh and surprising street style, and is an urban landscape-inspired and eco-oriented clothing and accessories line in constant evolution. Garments are made of eco-cotton, bamboo, left over material and carefully chosen upcycled textiles.

Collections are characterised by clear shapes, and functional and cosy designs, which are adaptable from time to time. We love the brilliant and funny use of all details in a way that maintains the original minimalist and Nordic typical look. Convertibility is the buzzword and nothing is still what it seems.

Black pleated epaulettes, £28

We love these black pleated shoulder pieces with copper rivets. The edges are left raw and the hanging thread is part of the look! The base is wool felt, making this a very cool accessory; you can wear them on your jacket or with any shirt. There are two brooch pins with locks to keep the epaulettes on.
