Marios Schwab for Debenhams’ Edition range
Marios Schwab has been named as the latest designer to join the likes of Preen, Jonathan Saunders and Roksanda Ilincic to create fabulous fashion for Debenhams’ Edition line.
The capsule collection of eight stunning dresses is released this week, coinciding perfectly with the upcoming party season. The range includes a floor-sweeping black tulle dress with sparkling sequin underlay, a rich purple knee-length dress with silver stud detail and Schwab’s take on the classic little black dress with leather cap sleeves and detailed waist panels.
The new pieces each embody Schwab’s beautifully cut, modern silhouettes as signature pieces from his collections have been used as inspiration for the Edition line. As Schwab explained to us: “It has been a great experience to introduce elements of the DNA of my label to a wider range of women… I wanted to introduce her and challenge her with a capsule range that incorporates my vision for the perfect dresses for all occasions.”
Each dress has been designed specifically for the Edition customer: a strong-minded woman who wants contemporary style that makes a statement. The collection portrays Schwab’s unique talent of understanding the contours of the female form and has been designed to make women feel confident, special and individual. The dresses have been created in beautiful cuts and structured shapes with added touches of detail or embellishment, making them perfect to be worn during the day or for an evening out.
Having been launched earlier this year, Edition is a relatively new concept at Debenhams. Unlike the brand’s other ranges, Edition is a more “fluid designer concept” where contemporary designers are signed up for a minimum of four seasons, with the aim of finding the next generation of designers at Debenhams.
The Marios Schwab Edition range is priced from £75 to £150 and is available now. Shop the Edition collection for your perfect party dress here, or in Debenhams stores nationwide.
