Angel Ball in New York with Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Bar Refaeli

Models, singers, millionaires and movie stars gathered together at the annual Angel Ball at Cipriani Wall Street, hosted by Denise Rich.

Gabrielle Rich was only 27 years old when acute leukaemia took her life. A talented woman and promising actress, she first went into remission in 1993 after defeating Hodgkin’s disease. Her last wish was to start a leukaemia foundation that could help other patients alleviate the pain she and her family went through.

Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation became operative in 1996 achieving great results (over $20 million has been granted for blood cancer research) thanks to recurring fundraising events in New York City.

Guests included Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Bar Refaeli, Gerard Butler, David Arquette, Irina Shayk, Estelle, Ashanti and Nelly.
