Calling all bloggers and jewellery lovers!
Jewellery brand and charm enthusiast Prairie has launched a new campaign that will not only give your blog exposure on their website, but will also give you the chance to design your own charm bracelet to sell on their site whilst making money for charity GOSH (Great Ormond Street Hospital) at the same time.
Project Blogger began after countless fashion lovers got in touch to collaborate with Prairie and write about their beautiful jewellery on various blogs. In return for the exposure they received, the brand decided to promote blogs and increase awareness, as well as offering a 50% discount on their items. With so much interest, Prairie has now had to launch an ongoing campaign to enable it to reach out to all the bloggers who’ve shown interest.
If you want to be involved, simply order your favourite piece of jewellery using their 50% discount – enter “charm50” at the checkout – and then write about it on your blog. It doesn’t have to be a review, but you must post your piece or a link to it on the Prairie Twitter account, as this will act as your entry to their competition.
A number of winning bloggers will be selected, judged on personality, style and creativity involved in the blogs themselves. Each winner will receive a “one-of-a-kind” semi-precious gemstone bracelet and the opportunity to design their own bracelet set to be sold on the Prairie website. The idea behind the collaboration is for bloggers to let their personal style and interests – be it cupcakes, vintage or shoes – be made into jewellery. Prairie will then offer a special discount to all followers of the designer’s blog.
On top of this, all bloggers who get involved will have their blogs featured on the Prairie site too, allowing blog followers to shop and blogs to gain follows from customers. At the end of each week, the brand will select their favourite blog and promote them on Twitter and Facebook, as well as including a special feature on their website.
Currently 10% of all proceeds are donated to the GOSH “kiss it better” campaign, but Prairie would love to donate more. This can be achieved with more bloggers getting involved and promoting the brand.
