Roaring on the fashion scene – Designosaur
The fashion world can be quite heavy at times. That’s why we were so excited when we came across Designosaur. The site is not only a clever play on words but is also an on-line store specialising in jewellery made out of wood and acrylic, as well as anything dinosaur related.
They sell necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings and brooches. We love their sense of fun and it is clear this company have a real passion for what they do and they do not take themselves too seriously, which is a great breath of fresh air in this day and age. All their creations are exciting, unique and trendy.
The quirky jewellery company was dreamt up in the free-spirited town of Brighton. The eccentric and individual designs are the handiwork of Jacques Keogh and Karli Dendy., who both graduated from the University of Sussex and went on to launch their store in November 2011.
We agree that Brighton is the perfect home for such pieces and so do the people of Brighton it seems, as their jewellery is being stocked in boutiques in the popular and fashionable Lanes of Brighton.
Here at The Upcoming we can’t enough of young and aspiring designers and this is certainly one of our favourites so far. What do you think about their out-there and unusual jewellery?
Take a look at their website here, or follow them on Twitter and Facebook for all the Designosaur news as it happens.
