The launch of the Kardashian Kollection for Dorothy Perkins

Half of Argyll Street was blocked off last night, as the launch of the Kardashian Kollection in Dorothy Perkins was drawing ever closer. Hosted in Soho’s Aqua, the guests dressed to the nines in the gold and glam dress code, eagerly awaited the arrival of the most infamous sisters, whilst sipping on lychee cocktails with floating rose buds.

The Kardashians having already wowed America with their fame and DASH clothing stores have decided to bring some of their infectious style and notorious elegance to UK retailer Dorothy Perkins. Storms of press and bloggers gathered inside and outside of the venue to catch a glimpse of Kim and Kourtney. Khloe had also taken part in the collection, but unfortunately couldn’t make it due to prior arrangements on the X Factor.

Finally arriving in little black dresses, the girls looked every ounce as impeccable as imagined: Kim wore a black backless sequin dress from their new collection, with her hair down and legs out, bracing our British weather; Kourtney had her hair scraped into a high bun, also sporting her collection in a high-neck sheer shirt teamed with dotted tights.

The collection consists of over 100 pieces and we got to witness rummaging through them first hand. Consisting of a very feminine embracing ensemble, the pieces are very reminiscent of the girls’ personal style. From bodycon dresses, blouses and trench coats, the collection shows a real feel for a confident woman and pieces that are wearable for parties and that portray ultimate luxury.

In a palette of black, green and red with lace and leopard-print detail, it’s no wonder women were swooning over the clothing rails. All garments were also displayed in a refreshing size 12, notifying the customer that they do not have to be stick thin to buy into the Kollection and it is more about embracing a womanly figure.

The Kardashians have also included handbags and purses into their collection, from which there are many fringed and glittery treats to buy from this accessories section, which would perfectly match any outfit from the Kollection.  

Other celebs also braced our presence throughout the evening, with X Factor finalists Rylan Clark, James Arthur and Ella Henderson also making an appearance at the launch.

The entire evening was an enthused and exciting event that brought together our admiration for the Kardashians. These talented women have managed to create this great and affordable collection for us English girls and we can’t wait to purchase our first piece.
