Disturbia Clothing: purveyor of original and creative fashion
Launched in 2003, Disturbia Clothing is a purveyor of original and creative alternative fashion. Founder Francis J Major combined his love of t-shirts and drawing, along with knowledge gained from his fashion design degree, to create the brand which was eventually picked up by the owner of Cult Clothing.
Before long, Disturbia Clothing was being sold nationwide, and has even been seen on stars as big as Slash and Axl Rose, as well as using top models Elle Wood and Arabella Drummond. For years, Major worked alone, designing, packaging and even printing his collections, always aiming to better the previous set. Now, he is able to employ some of the best illustrators around to work on new designs, and has even collaborated with the Prodigy on a capsule range in conjunction with their Invaders Must Die album.
The brand’s philosophy, “follow your own path”, has certainly worked for Major, as Disturbia has been standing strong for nine years, despite hundred of rivalling alternative clothing companies entering the market in the years since Disturbia was founded.
Disturbia has since moved away from solely designing t-shirts, with sweater, outerwear and accessories, such as this iPhone case, now on sale, all boasting the dark, punk-inspired designs at the core of Disturbia’s signature style.
Disturbia Clothing is available in alternative clothing retailers throughout the UK and Europe, as well as online here.
