Children’s charity The Joshua Foundation launches Fashion 4 A Cause pop-up shop
The wonderful charity The Joshua Foundation has opened its first pop-up charity shop in Cardiff from 1st December to 8th December, located at 9-11 Royal Arcade.
With incredible fashion brands donating to the brilliant cause, it’s a great way to grab some bargains while doing something great for the charity. Kandee Shoes, Dorothy Perkins, GUESS, Celebrity Fashion Clothing, Jinkksy Jewellery, BooHoo and Stylist Pick are a few of the generous fashion houses that have donated clothes, jewellery and shoes for the Welsh community to get their hands on.
With all the money going straight to the charity, it’s an incredible way to help out an amazing cause, which raises money for terminally ill children and gives them the opportunity to go on holidays and experiences to make their tragic short time the greatest it can be.
The charity started in September, 1998, when Joshua’s mother, Sarah Cornelius-Price, fulfilled her dying son’s wish to organise an event for his fellow cancer suffers to go to London for an experience. Unfortunately, Joshua passed away in December, 1998, but his memory lives on, as the foundation’s team works hard to make children’s dreams come true, and raises hundreds of thousands of pounds to make the experiences bigger and better.
Through the years, the charity has gone from strength to strength, and changed the lives of countless children who are stricken with terminal cancer.
So head to Cardiff to grab a great gift for Christmas, or a few new items for your wardrobe while making a difference for the many children helped by this wonderful cause.
