Wolf & Badger teams up with The Society for an in-store festive charity soiree
The Wolf & Badger store on Dover Street, Mayfair, came alive with festive cheer on Saturday evening as the boutique store teamed up with The Society to hold a collective charitable take on Christmas.
The Society is a project under the auspices of the World Council for Peoples for the United Nations (WCPUN) and is trying to bring to light London’s charity scene. The evening aimed to bring together recognition for a focus on sustainable development in post-conflict countries, all by spreading a little festive cheer to those who attended.
Entertainment was provided in the form of raw talent from the öff-beat talent collective, with beautiful acoustic performances from the likes of X Factor Boot Camp singer Leanne Robinson. Leanne covered the likes of Eric Clapton and also included a mash-up of Cry Me A River for a unique, slightly urban touch to her set. Accompanied by a solo guitarist at the back of the store, she wowed the audience with her high notes and passionate singing.
Stolichnaya Vodka was the spirit of choice and ensured everyone was having a jolly time with tonic and cranberry mixers to be enjoyed inside the store. Guests indulged in mince pies and could also buy raffle tickets for a charity raffle where some amazing prizes were on offer. Ten per cent of all purchases from clothing also were donated to the charity, including the recently launch Serge DeNimes range.
The evening was a true reflection of how fashion, music and a little celebration can give a helping hand to those who need it the most.
