A muse by any other name is aMuse
Shakespeare quotes aside, jewellery designer Sarah Nettleton created another classic hit with aMuse Fashions. Nettleton started aMuse Fashions to provide light-weight, statement jewellery for the woman who enjoys artistic pieces without the hassle of heavy materials. “I have a great interest in modern materials and accessories, but a low tolerance for heavy earrings and necklaces.” She took it upon herself to fill the void in the accessories world, and created her own amazing line.
“The aMuse woman is one who has a lively lifestyle, enjoys art, and is looking for that something different to accessorise her wardrobe,” says Nettleton. Her quote is well represented throughout the line’s interesting bracelets, rings and necklaces. aMuse even offers a bespoke service, and can even incorporate a variation on a piece you already own.
We at The Upcoming really liked the Oceanwaves Bracelet (£30.00) where you can “take the feel of the open water with you” with blue resin waves capped with silvered bronze, which are connected by silver rings and a magnetic slide clasp in this interesting bracelet. Your Oceanwaves Bracelet can be complemented by a matching necklace (£35) and earring set (£10). We also suggest the I Get a Belt Out of You Earrings (£25), which are super bright and hand-formed using epoxy clay. They are also decorated with recycled magazine and 22-carat gold leaf – perfect for adding brightness to your outfit on a dreary winter’s day.
