Gypsy Warrior: dressing women in clothes to fight for
Gypsy Warrior was born when college friends Michel Bezoza and Nicla DiCosmo shared their love of fashion, art, music and pop culture, and decided to use those passions to create a brand that stands out from the rest. With inspiration from boho and rock ‘n’ roll, the name fits perfectly, and asking Michel how they would describe their brand, she said: “Adventurous, magical, fashionable, on trend and for every girl.”
Looking at the collections, Michel is staying true to her word. There is something for everyone, no matter what your style or shape or the occasion, but every piece is gorgeous and dripping in style.
What has been the highlight with Gypsy Warrior?
Michel: Watching the whole growth of the company from the idea, to the birth of the company, to where we are today. It has been a wild ride these past two years, but we are so excited about all the opportunities we have had and what the future holds!
We’ll definitely be keeping our eye out for the new items added to the already fantastic collection, though we’re not sure how it could get any better! There are things there that are so in trend, but we haven’t seen in any shops. Beautiful prints, incredible fringe skirts, blouses to die for and accessories that will make a bin bag look good; there are some real gems there that will get heads turning.
What does the future have in store for GW?
Michel: Everything! We hope to bring Gypsy Warrior into the homes of many, many more awesome girls. Our business and team is growing so quickly. We hope to offer a lot more on our website and in our stores. Open more stores, and we are very excited to start designing our own clothing! It’s very rewarding to see our label inside the clothes.
We can’t see anything stumping Gypsy Warrior’s growth. If they keep providing the stunning clothes and doing what they’re doing, we have no doubt in our minds we’ll still be talking about Gypsy Warrior in years to come. So join this label on their fight against bad fashion and look great at the same time.
