bareMinerals and Jonathan Adler collaborate for “Happiness by Design”

Renowned designer Jonathan Adler and cosmetic brand bareMinerals  have teamed up to create the first collaboration of makeup and home decor. This is Adler’s first launch into the world of beauty and we thank him for letting us have an excuse to hoard more pretty things; believe us, these limited edition products are just too unique to pass up.

Happiness by Design will consist of three products, all illustrated with Adler’s exclusive designs. A limited edition foundation is available in five different shades (fairly light, light, medium, medium beige and medium tan), making it available for a variety of skin tones. It will be an oversized version of the bareMinerals original foundation and seeing as bigger is better and they are only available for a limited time, we are sure the product will be snapped up very quickly. The collection has also introduced a Handy Buki Brush and a special edition collectable box.

Adler’s design really makes the products pop, using his signature bright hues he decorates the packaging with pink, purple and mustard in a cute chevron pattern to give it a real wow factor. “I always say that I believe we’re all beautiful on the inside. But you might as well do what you can on the outside,” Adler said as he spoke to ELLE.com.

The collection is perfect to brighten up these dull days and it’s always great to see a splash of colour back on the shelves and in our make-up bags. Happiness by Design will be available from March 2013 and will be exclusive to Selfridges and the Selfridges website.
