Five items from the Bourne Collection for you to obsess over
The Bourne Collection was launched in 2004 and is committed to producing the highest quality clothing at affordable prices. The brand has a loyal following from fashion enthusiasts who love beautifully crafted pieces. Bourne was initially stocked in the UK’s most prestigious boutiques, but as its popularity grew, so did its list of retail partners. Bourne is now stocked in over 45 countries including New York, Milan, Hong Kong and Paris.
For Autumn/Winter 2012, Bourne launched its first capsule women’s collection with fashion designer Shaun Barker-Newton. The collection was designed to compliment the footwear and accessories for the woman who appreciates the polished look. It’s all at affordable prices, so you can get the whole look and still have enough change for cocktails!
We’ve picked our favourite five items from the Bourne Collection for you to obsess over …
The Winnie Dress in black is the perfect dress for any occasion: the skater-style skirt flatters most sizes and shapes, and is the best skirt to hide those extra pounds that seem to have found their way onto your hips over the festive period. The cut-out detail shows off some skin, so don’t be afraid to cover up your legs with some tights – it is January after all! The dress is currently in the sale and is priced at £111.75.
The Edie Lace Top is another favourite of ours. Such a versatile top, that can be worn with most things: jeans, skirts and shorts for a more quirky look under a dress. As the lace is black, it makes it easy to wear at any occasion and with anything. Add bright shoes and accessories for a pop of colour. The top is currently priced at £75.
The Bella Shoe in gold is the perfect all-year-round shoe. The colour makes them look a lot more expensive than they are, and they would look great with an all-black outfit. The t-bar strap is perfect for girls with long legs and the bow helps to keep the shoes really girlie. The shoes are reduced from £159 to £119 in the sale.
The Alicia Bag in pewter is the wonderful alternative to the McQueen box clutches that are sure to be seen on the catwalk come February Fashion Week. Get yours early and at only £81. The crystal encrusted trim makes the bag great for parties and events; but also would be perfect for a more casual night out, dressing up any outfit.
It’s that time of year when it’s chilly when you’re heading out on an evening, and everyone can’t wait for the sun to make an appearance. The Bettie Jacket in black and gold is a great cover up for a night out with the girls or dinner with the boy. The 3/4 length sleeve stop it looking too much like a coat and the pattern – well, need we say any more? The jacket is £94.50.
