London Collections: Men – Topman A/W 2013 catwalk show
The Upcoming was invited yesterday to attend the catwalk show of Topman’s 2013 Autumn/Winter collection. A fantastic crowd turned up to preview what is the kick off of the Menswear London Collections.
With the front row full of A-Listers such as Tinie Tempah, Henry Holland and David Gandy, the show was expected to be a success, and it didn’t disappoint. Camera at the ready, bloggers and journalists alike stood in awe at the outfits strutting down the catwalk on stylish models. It was quickly made apparent that the key trends for this season are cropped tailored jackets and fur-lined parkas. Chunky knits also played a big part in their catwalk show, with various coloured beanie hats and thick woolly polos. The obvious colour palette consisted of tangerines and cranberry, with cream tones in-between; your eye was caught from start to finish.
Topman really managed to get the right balance between stylish and chic with the lengths of the coats sitting perfectly and the collection as a whole flowing really well. You can always count of Topman to lead and test its high-street competitors, while being completely wearable.
This is one collection that should fly off the shelves when it hits stores, so keep your eyes peeled!
