VeryFirstTo Awards held at Mansion Hall
The inaugural VeryFirstTo Awards signified the end of what has been a fantastic couple of days due to the excitement and talent exhibited at London Collections: Men.
The Upcoming has gathered sneak peaks into the trends, colours, fabrics and silhouettes that will be hot for this season and the next. Last night was the opportunity to commend not just the personalities in fashion and beauty but also luxury products and venues. The VeryFirstTo Awards is a new and exclusive awards ceremony that has shortlisted the likes of Cartier, Burberry and Porsche to name a few. Held at the beautiful Mansion Hall on Cavendish Square, with a red carpet entrance it was luxurious from start to finish.
Champagne and white wine spurred on the mingling taking place by journalists, bloggers and celebrities like Made in Chelsea star Rosie Fortescue. The awards also gave everyone a chance to look at the contenders not just in beauty and fashion but in categories such as technology with Blackberry previewing the prototype for their new touch phone coming out on the 30th January.
On a small stage were the judges; the amazing personalities of Giles Deacon, Poppy Delavigne, Wayne Hemingway, Luke Johnson and Bip Ling. The Overall win was Z. boat by Zala Hadid, Chanel’s hula-hoop bag nabbing the Accessories Award and Marni’s debut fragrance was strong enough to get joint first place with Marc Jacobs, and Sunshine Edition for health and beauty.
