Get your designer goodies from Vestaire Collective

In 2009, six like-minded friends realised that their own buying habits had peaked, and they managed to transform their luxury shopping addiction into Vestaire Collective. The new online shopping community allows people to sell their unwanted, high-end clothing. In the space of four years the website has moved from its first 1000 items to selling hundreds of thousands of designer goodies, alongside the opening of offices in London, New York and Paris, with a community of over one million members. 1

Unlike other online resale sites, the people behind Vestaire Collective have more control over the items sold. Sellers must have items go through a screening process before they are uploaded and allowed to be sold, to ensure authenticity and quality. Since 2012, the company has been signed up to the Charter Against Online Sales of Counterfeit Goods along with other mainstream luxury designers such as Chanel, Dior and Yves Saint Laurent. Not only is this a trusted site, but you can also buy your designer item at a discounted price and have it shipped within 24 hours. 2

At present, the most popular items online include Jimmy Choo shoes, a Dolce and Gabbana dress and an Emporio Armani jacket – we really could reel off name after name here; the labels are never-ending.

This forward-thinking shopping destination allows you to follow the items and watch as the prices reduce, allowing us to live in hope that those Celine shoes might come down to something more in our price range.
