Jimmy Choo releases a new perfume: Flash
After the success of Jimmy Choo’s first venture in to the world of perfumery with eau de Jimmy Choo, the brand has finally released a second scent – Flash. With a name taken from the light of a paparazzi’s shot, Jimmy Choo is trying to recreate for every woman a feeling of fame, fashion and luxury.
The new fragrance has been created by expert perfumer Christine Nagel whose famous scents include Dior’s Miss Dior Chérie and Dolce & Gabbana’s The One. Flash is an intense yet fresh fragrance with all the decadence of the red carpet. “I created Flash for the self-confident, urban Jimmy Choo woman,” Nagel explained. “Sexy, rebellious and sophisticated. I imagined the sound of her heels, clicking on the streets of New York, London and Paris.”
The perfume embodies top notes of spicy pink pepper and sweet strawberry and tangerine; heart notes of tuberose jasmine and white lily and base notes of heliotrope and white woods. Flash has the perfect balance of spicy, fruity and floral notes, which creates a sexy and powerful yet sweet fragrance.
Jimmy Choo Creative Directors Sandra Choi and Simon Holloway say: “Flash is about the cool rush of excitement and the sense of power a woman feels when dressed in a pair of sexy shoes. Its character, which is both heady and effervescent, captures this perfectly.” The designers say the fragrance emulates the “thrill of the red carpet, the fun of the nightclub and the glamour of dressing up.” The crystal faceted bottle has been designed with the paparazzi flash bulb in mind combined with the blue of disco lights and the glamour of a 70s style chandelier.
Flash is available exclusively at Debenhams from the 14th until 28th January after which time it will be available nationwide. Prices start from £36 for 40ml and £62 for 100ml.
