Wonderful creations by eco beachwear designer Sophia Rogge
Sophia Rogge is ultimately known for her beachwear brand that helps to raise awareness for coral conservation. This passionate designer and artist has set her sights in saving and bringing awareness about the ocean and the negative effects upon it.
Her initiative to start bringing awareness of the coral conservation started when she was in San Francisco, whilst working on an underwater art exhibition. She came across coral saving initiatives, which genuinely sparked an idea to create beachwear, where a percentage of profits go to saving the coral conservation.
Sophia’s aim is to bring to our attention how the coral needs protecting and constant care, through her stylish beachwear. She is adamant in bringing to the forefront a cause that she truly believes in, and wants others to feel the same about the natural living organisms.
She has combined two of her passions – design and eco – and has created the coral collection. This collection is exuding in vibrant oceanic colours and themes of nature. Colourful designs of the beach, blooms and the sea are digitally transferred onto her garments.
You have the option of choosing silk scarves, feminine sarongs, vest tops or mini sarongs – the ultimate collection to wear at the beach. The versatile silk scarves are breath-taking as they can be worn as a scarf, sarong and bandana or tied to your bag as an accessory. They represent a classic must-have accessory in your wardrobe.
The sarongs (including the mini version) are made out of organic cotton, leaving your skin feeling ever so soft, whilst making you look fantastic and complementing your silhouette. You can easily accessorise the sarong with bold jewellery pieces, a pair of sunglasses and some beachwear slippers.
Each print and design is dear and close to Sophia’s heart. She has taken her inspirations, visions and thoughts and embedded them onto beachwear.
Sophia’s brand is constantly growing with features in Vogue, Tatler, Grazia and Elle Magazine. Not to mention the increasing size of her supporters.
Now we can all support the coral conservation!
