Cucina Asellina debuts in London with all-Italian night

Italian food lovers will be glad to hear that there is a new great restaurant in town, Cucina Asellina.

Born in New York with chef Marco Poreddu, the concept revolves around serving dishes influenced by a variety of regional cultures respecting the local traditions.

The newly opened restaurant, part of the Strand luxurious newcomer ME hotel, was officially launched to the Italian society yesterday night with well-known guests from the professional world and star Nancy Dell’Olio.

The event featured a selection of high quality cured meats, cheeses and delicious dishes. Highlights of the evening were the Grilled Wild Branzino, Saffron Fregola and Shell Fish Ragu and the juicy Roasted Lamb, Artichokes, Rate Potatoes and Vernaccia Wine. Exquisite pizza.

Set in a sophisticated but informal environment, if you are into Italian food this is surely the next restaurant to visit.
