Mr Kors feeds the hungry mouths

Every day children die from starvation in third-world countries. They didn’t choose this life. This hunger is not fair and it’s up to us to put a stop to it. In fact, top designer Michael Kors has decided that enough is enough. The fashion designer has partnered with the United Nations in a project to tackle world hunger.

Kors has stated that he wants to “contribute in a way that would make a real difference in people’s lives … joining forces with the World Food Programme enables us to do that”. He goes on to explain that “hunger is a solvable problem” and that he is proud he can be “part of the solution”.

He hopes to raise money and awareness through campaigns and events, which will no doubt hold the glamour crown. The must-have label has already begun its heroic fashion journey by designing unisex watches with the slogan “Watch Hunger Stop”. These are to be released in March and each sold will allow an astonishing 100 hungry mouths to be fed.
