JW Anderson x Topshop back for another season

Back just in time for London Fashion Week A/W13, JW Anderson is set to empty the shelves once again in Topshop stores all over the country as his new collection is launched.

After the success that Anderson received during the S/S13 fashion week last year, Topshop have collaborated with the Emerging Talent 2012 Award designer to make another exciting line of clothes and accessories.

The collection itself has a classic JW Anderson stamp upon it. Simply looking at the garments allows you to instantly know that they are signature Anderson pieces. In stark contrast to the previous line, monochromes are complemented with navy and black pieces. Shades of pale yellow and red add a total clash of palette, but are brought together with simple argyle prints and bold images of hearts, turkeys and cars. Knitwear makes up the best of the collection, but pleats and peplums in skirts and a whole host of patent mac-style coats make the S/S13 pieces unique and stylish.

JW Anderson’s inspiration uses the idea of reinventing classics and making them completely re-wearable. What we love the most is the footwear, which includes platform penny loafers that are to die for, as well as a range of interesting snakeskin loafers in pastel shades.

Undoubtedly the JW Anderson x Topshop line will be a sell out repeat of last September, and will have major impact on the FROW at Somerset House this week. We cannot wait to see it making an appearance in our wardrobes for the new season.
