NYFW – Catherine Malandrino A/W 2013 catwalk show
The Catherine Malandrino fall/winter collection for 2013 at New York Fashion Week showed the sophisticated balance between femininity and vigorous attitude. The collection has a medieval aura with intricate embroidery, graphic sheer cutouts, wools, and luxurious leathers.
Each look bared these beautiful detailed fabrics. Military-styled sophistication made up the female-conscious silhouettes. Knee-length domed skirts sported with leather zipped jackets and draped floor-length dresses strutted like Amazonian warriors down the runway. High-waist trousers with metallic snaps accompanied the detailed styles.
The color palette ranged from blacks to a rich deep-colored burgundy. Trench and gorgeous hooded coats were designed with high collars, and custom-treated leather (with punched designs of intricate diamonds and triangles) found its way into each look. The patterned stockings complimented in the same fashion. All looks were adorned with slender ankle lace up boots to complete the feminine armor in city fashion style.
Catherine Malandrino will continue to bring her consistent style to Fashion Week. Malandrino supplies her chic customers with clothes that will suit every aspect of their lives, whether on business or social meetings, or whilst travelling the globe. This designer conveys a level of strength and femininity to any wardrobe.
