NYFW: Noon by Noor A/W 13 show

Noon by Noor is a relatively new brand presented by two cousins that take cues from their homeland of Bahrain to create a wonderful blend of traditional yet modern pieces. Timeless and feminine were the themes of this collection, and the two women expertly accomplished this.

The fabrics are lavish and riddled with embellishments and details that one could easily miss if not paying attention, but they make the garment superb all while driving their “timeless” theme home. Jewel tones mixed with navy, grey, black and white were the colours chosen for this collection; something that seemed to be the common theme at this year’s Fashion Week. Their clothing seemed to have some menswear influence with their trouser pants, but also very soft at the same time. Overall, a delightful collection.
