LFW pop-up store launch: The Space
For this week and this week only, the Parisian concept store The Space has set up in the stylish London boutique, Austique . Situated in amongst the many high-end designer outlets of Kings Road, Chelsea, The Space is a rare treasure.
On Wednesday 13th February, The Upcoming was invited to attend The Space pop-up store launch just in time for the start of LFW. From the 14th-21st February, Tallulah Rufus-Isaacs and Julia Van Hagen share a taste of their Parisian boutique with London.
As Austique open up its upper floor to The Space, it is clear that the location is perfect for this pop-up store. Grand chandeliers hanging above the staircase, decorative dog ornaments sporting scarves and a flurry of french accents really illustrate just how cool and chic this pop-up store really is.
With everything pretty from exquisitely designed stone jewellery to coloured metallic jeans, The Space showcases and sells the work of both upcoming and well-established international designers.
Among the names are underwear designer Nichole de Carle, jewellery designer Annelise Michelson and the French clothing brand American Retro. We couldn’t turn around without catching a glimpse of something we wanted to get our hands on and I’m sure that you’ll feel the same.
There is something about the atmosphere of The Space that made us fall in love with everything we saw.
While you’re in London over the next week checking out all things fashion, pay a visit to The Space and experience the sense of nostalgic bohemia that you might have found in a 1960s Biba store. But be quick because you really don’t want to miss out on this one.
