NYFW – Brandon Sun A/W 2013 collection
Understated glamour was the theme on Wednesday morning at Brandon Sun’s NYFW presentation. Sun kept up with his tradition from last year, with his models standing like a gallery exhibit on a plain multi-level platform. The guests were able to really see the clothing in this way – able to take in every detail.
Leather, satin, wool and fur were all included in this collection, but done in such a simple and exquisite way that it wasn’t over-the-top. The New York City woman would definitely love this collection, as it is wearable yet dramatic at the same time. Sun graduated from Parsons and the way he executed this collection has to make them proud, because it’s done in a well-executed manner. This collection is made for the confident woman and some of the menswear-inspired pieces bring an edge to the line that is absolutely flawless. Good job, Brandon Sun.
