NYFW – Tracy Reese A/W 2013 collection

NYFW – Tracy Reese A/W 2013 collection

If you want nothing more than to be wearing colourful print this A/W then look no further than Tracy Reese. A combination of bright florals, plaid and animal print made this show something very exciting.

As if a wide range of pattern isn’t enough, the use of leather, lace and sequins gives this collection the edge that it needed to not be considered too sweet and girly. Tight jodhpurs with leather panels juxtapose the innocent, floral dresses, give a perfect example of how versatile these pieces can be.

If you take anything away from this show (other than the fact that a siamese cat is definitely A/W 2013’s cutest accessory) let it be that next season will bring variety. A-line skirts, tight trousers, pencil skirts, baggy trousers, pleated leather and sequins all combined really do paint a picture of an overly feminine woman that still has the power the get want she wants.
