LFW – Krystof Strozyna A/W 2013 collection

Last season, Polish designer Krystof Strozyna used the beautiful Helen of Troy from Greek mythology and Hollywood’s golden age actress Elizabeth Taylor as the central muses for his collection. Known for celebrating the female form and encouraging that feminine feeling felt when in his clothes, this autumn/winter ’13 collection is no exception. 14

Krystof uses the right amount of structure to enhance the female form whilst still being extremely wearable. The entire collection and its “journey under the sea” theme is inspired by the John William Waterhouse painting entitled The Siren, which is where the grey, green, burgundy and black colour palette was sourced. Krystof still injected his trademark prints, which coincided beautifully with its aquatic textures and the collection’s theme.
