Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff are a regular British must-see at LFW. The designers met at Central Saint Martins and in 2010 won the Emerging Talent Fashion Award. Since then they have been successful and highly anticipated at LFW.
The designers claim they “tell stories in different ways”. Their new collection seen at The Topshop Show Space, expresses different tales and moods through the use of colour and fabrics.
Their designs have a theme of obvious femininity such as intricate bow, ruffles, roses and taffeta detailing. These are all executed in an old fashioned manner, with a cutting-edge contemporary twist, appropriate for a modern day audience.
Frills and frisson with retro Minnie mouse tees, sunshine yellows shone through their lines as it did for all of the LFW catwalk shows.
With Meadham & Kirchhoff think Little Bo Peep without her sheep but with stilettos and attitude instead.
Meadham Kirchhoff presented a baroque and sophisticated A/W 2013 collection at Topshop Show Space for London Fashion Week.
