MFW – Roberto Cavalli A/W 2013 collection
With the luxurious setting of the Arco della Pace, the Roberto Cavalli show was looking all the more exciting. Based on the show notes, we knew this collection for autumn/winter 2013 was going to be centring on seduction.
As the collection unfolded, our eyes were met with lots of monochrome and power dressing galore. Three-piece suits made their appearance and took the masculine trend and stepped it up with glitzy, chic accessories and strong, statement pieces layered underneath. The suits had feminine details such as satin lapels and very luxurious sides on the trousers.
Embellishments have been all over the runways and the Cavalli show was no different; we saw plenty of statement necklaces to carry off this trend.
As more models took to the runway, we were greeted with gorgeous and sumptuous purples and navy; we are certainly looking forward to using these colours in our A/W 2013 wardrobe, that’s for sure! Fur is also making a big statement for autumn/winter, and it has certainly been a feature of many of the shows. In the Roberto Cavalli show, we have seen it gloriously shown off with multi-colours running through the fur and draped over a power dress or some bold print trousers, for example.
We personally loved this navy flocked jumper that has been paired with some killer accessories. In our opinion, the Roberto Cavalli woman oozes glamour.
