China Doll launches a pop-up boutique at Boxpark Shoreditch
You may not be familiar with China Doll but that is all about to change.
China Doll recently entered a competition to win a free pop-up boutique courtesy of Boxpark. China Doll were a runner up and will have a six-week pop up at Boxpark, Shoreditch.
China Doll is the label created by Nhuc Tran in 2011. She studied a Fashion Retail Diploma at the Fashion Retail Academy before going on to work for a number of brands. At 22 she started working as a marketing assistant for a fashion brand called Rise. Nhuc used all her own money, which she invested in the business. She has done everything on a shoestring to be able to launch the label.
China Doll’s products are wearable, dainty and feminine with a whimsical feel. Delicate dresses, such as this coral embellished dress, and dresses in pretty prints, such as this galaxy print dress, all feature in the collection.
Even though the collection is so feminine, Nhuc is inspired by a number of subjects. “I’m inspired by everything around me. It could be anything from a pretty decorated cake, an art installation, magazine, blogs, home decorating…”.
To celebrate the label launching the boutique, they are offering 20% off on 2nd and 3rd March only. The boutique can be found at Unit 33 2-4 Bethnal Green Road, London, E1 6GY. Head down to the boutique this weekend for a sneaky peek at China Doll. You never know, you may become a China Doll convert.
