Secret Emporium was born out of a love of costume culture and independent fashion. Aiming to discover designers that are fresh, exciting and new, the idea behind the brand ensures that designers who are young and inspiring are given a platform to showcase their talents.

15^th-24^th March sees this season’s top 20 British independent designers being given the opportunity to display their work in the heart of the capital. Secret Emporium will be taking over three retail units at BOXPARK Shoreditch in a display of the most inventive talents for S/S’13.

Highlights of the pop-up will include Lizzie Burns, who was awarded the first Secret Emporium scholarship three years ago. Using leather as her basis, Lizzie creates 3D ethical jewellery that takes inspiration from science and magic. With the likes of Nicole Scherzinger and Ellie Golding being spotted wearing her brand, EABurns Jewellery, we are sure that Lizzie is one to watch. Other highlights will include Shop Floor Whore who has Jesse J as one of her fans and specializes in beautiful metallic turbans, and Ali Forbes, an RCA graduate whose new collection ‘Urban Folk Lore’ features an intriguing combination of lazer cut metal and leather.

Friday 15^th March invites you to welcome and view the talented delights of Secret Emporium to East London, with cake from Pomp De Franc and drinks from Belvedere Vodka. DJ’s Jay Karim and Michael Palmer will be opening the evening where guests will be given the opportunity to talk at first hand to the designers about their new collections.

The launch of the pop-up will also work alongside the launch of the brand new BOXPARK website and will give visitors the opportunity to get 5% off online.
