Chanel’s spring 2013 make-up collection
When it comes to make-up launches, we can always count on Chanel to deliver luxury pieces we can all lust over. This spring 2013 collection is no different. With 13 different pieces in total, there really is something for everyone. This collection isn’t all about pastels or what we would predict for spring, but instead it is a collection of gorgeous neutrals with the odd plum shade thrown in for good measure.
Possibly the star of the collection is the gorgeous highlighting Poudre Signèe de Chanel. Embossed with the CC logo and beautiful mini-images of make-up and camelias, this powder is warmed with peach but its light beige shade can sculpt and illuminate the complexion beautifully.
The next star of the show is the Les Ombres 4 palette in the shade “Raffinement”. Steering away from pretty light pinks and pastels, this palette houses three gorgeous neutrals and a deep plum – something not normally thought of for springtime but can certainly vamp up any daytime look.
Aside from these two products, there are also six different lipsticks to choose from. Ranging from neutral pink to plum to peach, there is something for everyone in Chanel’s offerings.
Along with the lipsticks, Chanel has also introduced two shades of lipgloss, two lip liners and also three eyeliners for those wanting subtle definition.
For those who love a gorgeous peachy blush, this collection has one of those too, and would look gorgeous paired with the highlighter.
Finally, a staple in any Chanel collection is nail polish. Their spring collection holds three gorgeous shades that tie together all the shades from all of the products collectively and co-ordinate with any of the products mentioned above.
Accessoire is the beautiful plum shade, Fracas is a pretty dolly pink and Emprise is a neutral, natural light pink.
The Chanel spring collection was (as always) released in early January but is still readily available at all stores and counters.
