DiGuardo Boutique launches first ever spring fashion show
With such a beautiful array of independent stores that the affluent and fashion-forward area of Notting Hill has to offer, the notion that one small boutique could shine out amongst them is truly a creditable accomplishment. Set at the far end of Kensington Park Road, close to the famous Portabello Road, lies the designer treasure trove, DiGuardo Boutique. Last night, they launched their first ever spring fashion show.
The boutique was opened to the public at 6pm, an hour before the fashion show began, as an opportunity to browse the gorgeously feminine yet reasonably priced collection, enjoy free champagne and appreciate the intimate, detailed and vibrant aesthetics of the store.
Stocking a vast range of unique and exclusive pieces from US and European designers such as Vivetta, Mutadesign, Lucza London, Cecilia Hammarborg and Charlotte Taylor to name a few, the showcase undoubtedly left every fashion conscious woman who attended in awe of the beautifully tailored pieces.
The boutique relishes in sixties-styled smocks, subtly textured dresses, printed scarves and blouses and statement jewellery, all of which were displayed in the fashion show. The show was complimented by the upbeat music of previous eras that reflected the style of the collection, and boutique owner Letizia Di Guardo describes the pieces on offer as “items which will appeal to the DiGuardo woman, confident, decisive, modern and timeless, progressive and infinitely wearable”.
With dresses from the Vivetta range being worn by the likes of iconic trendsetter Alexa Chung, it’s a surprise that DiGuardo Boutique is the only stockist in the UK with the collection. However, this gives the store an exclusive feel and with pieces from various collections being featured in the likes of Vogue and Time Out magazine, DiGuardo is a recognised, chic and classically contemporary boutique definitely worth indulging in this spring.
