Cara Delevingne fronts YSL’s new beauty campaign “Babydoll”
Having strutted down most runways this season and landing a campaign with Burberry, Cara Delevingne has another box to tick as she launches into the world of make-up. The 20-year old Brit, currently the name on everyone’s lips, is the face of the new YSL beauty campaign for spring/summer 2013.
Titled ‘Babydoll’, the campaign is set to be the make-up range to own, when it launches on May 22nd. Wearing all black and flaunting her infamous brows, Cara is photographed applying the new false-lash effect mascara to her peepers.
Looking sultry and classy, Cara shows off her top model abilities and portrays the “Babydoll” look to perfection.
YSL’s creative director Lloyd Simmons spoke about the product saying, “It’s a mascara that curls and separates the lashes to give them ideal thickness without ever weighing them down.” With this much praise, this eye-enhancing product is sure to be flying off the shelves. We are always on the hunt for a new mascara and if Cara is wearing it, we sure do want it.
The collection will also include five coloured eyeliners, lipsticks and nail lacquers. With Cara sporting eyeliner flicks in the pics and the suggestive title, this implies that we are in for a retro twist on our make-up this summer. We just can’t wait!
